Unique Flute 1

This flute is named Ata'Kenra Ohkwa:ri = Grey Bear
This flute was made for  Daivid Maracle http://davidrmaracle.com/drm/?option=com_content&task=view&id=21&Itemid=.
David  is a Haudenosaunee Mohawk and and member of the Bear clan.
The Mohawk people are the people of the flint ,within the flute stand are two arrowheads made from Onondaga Chert http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Onondaga_%28geological_formation%29 .  Generously  donated by flint-napper Dan Long http://knapper_dan.tripod.com/page3.html
The other side if the flute stand is adorned with a bear claw surrounded by crushed sleeping beauty turquoise from Arizona
Other decor in the stand includes a native wood burnt bear print design with crushed turquoise and a  Texas whitetail deer antler .
The flute body is made from Buckeye burl wood with ebony highlights it also includes wood burnt crushed turquoise inlay designs
Flute is tuned to the popular key of F#
