Welcome to "B" 's Native flutes

Woodlands style Native American flutes hand crafted by Bryan Towers
About the flute maker:
I am a registered member of the Six Nations Haudenosaunee from the Cayuga Nation
Born in Hamilton Ontario Canada currently living in Stoney Creek Ontario

I am a 53 year old novice native flute maker at the beginning of my flute making journey

These ancient musical instruments give off a very calming tone that is both pleasing to the players ears as well as his or her listeners . The music these instruments can produce is very good for day to day stress
relief and is calming to the soul .

"B"s Native flute Construction

Picture

I use modern tools to achieve the basic shape ,many of my flutes they are shaped using a belt sander this process creates a some what different shape to each  flute .
The true sound hole construction ,hole burning ,tuning ,final sanding decorating are all done by hand .
My flutes are not mass produced .With the many stages and procedures involved it can take up to two weeks to complete one flute
.
